North of the village Perachori there was the old city Koukouvata, from which ruins of houses still exist. This settlement is known as Paleochora.

Rizes Cave lies beyond the village of Perachori, before the path leading to the Homeric Arethousa Fountain in the area of Anemodouri. 

Acropolis of Alalkomenes is an archaeological site to the right of the highest point of the main road from Aetos to  Piso Aetos .

Kathara monastery is situated 566 m. above sea level, 6 klm. away from the village of Anogi.

In Vathy, in the area under Vounaki is the church of Saint Stathis. It was built around 1800.
